BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-In a move widely seen as an effort to strengthen national unity and promote inclusive governance, President Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed Enoch Chihana as the new Second Vice President of Malawi.
Chihana, who is also the President of the Alliance for Democracy (AFORD), brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills to the role.
The appointment adds a fresh layer of balance to President Mutharika’s Cabinet, reflecting his desire to bring together leaders from across the political spectrum for the sake of development and stability.
