LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Sad news coming in shows that the newly appointed Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Lands, Wezzie Kayira has died.
The Maravi Post understands that the PS Kayira died on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025 at Parteners in Hope Hospital in the capital, Lilongwe where he went to seek medical attenton for diabetics mellitus.
Land Ministry Publicist Mphatso Nkuonera also confirmed Kayira death but did not divulge more information.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Lands family is aggrieved with the untimely loss of their PS.
Kayira once served as Director of Prosecution, Secretary for the office of the vice president and PS for the Ministry of Labour before he died.
He hailed from Chitipa district
