…Church leaders and community members celebrate enhanced transport for parishioners and church activities
LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Dzenza CCAP Church in Area 25 celebrated the launch of a new church bus on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The bus was introduced to improve transportation for congregants, particularly for attending church services, outreach programs, and other community activities.
The launch ceremony was attended by church leaders, including the Reverend Pastor, elders, and deacons of the congregation.
Members of the church’s choir, youth groups, and Sunday school teachers were also present to witness the historic occasion.
Local community members, including residents of Area 25, joined the celebrations to show support for the church’s initiative.
During the launch, the Reverend Pastor highlighted the importance of the bus in enhancing access to church programs for all members, especially those living farther away.
He expressed gratitude to church members and donors whose contributions made the purchase of the bus possible.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official handover of the bus, with members cheering and offering prayers for safe journeys.
Children from the Sunday school were among the first to tour the bus, expressing excitement at having reliable transport for church events.
The event concluded with prayers, blessings, and a short dedication service to ensure the vehicle serves the church and its community faithfully.
The launch of the bus is expected to strengthen community engagement and ensure that church activities are more accessible to members throughout Lilongwe and surrounding areas.
