BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach and club legend Fischer “Jahman” Kondowe has called on the club’s management to come out clearly and explain the real reasons behind his dismissal.
Speaking in reaction to the club’s official statement announcing his removal, Kondowe said the reasons given to the public were misleading and unfair.
“I have deliberately kept quiet and chosen not to speak about my dismissal,” said Kondowe.
“But when the club starts telling lies to the Malawian people, that becomes a very big mistake,” he added.
The outspoken former winger took issue with Bullets Chief Administrative Officer Albert Chigoga, who earlier told the media that the club chose not to disclose details of Kondowe’s dismissal out of respect for him as a club veteran.
Kondowe dismissed Chigoga’s remarks as false and disrespectful, insisting that the explanation given was far from the truth.
“What Chigoga said about keeping the reasons private out of respect for me is a lie,” Kondowe declared.
“He should withdraw that statement and tell the Malawian people and all Bullets supporters the truth,” he emphasized.
Bullets on Tuesday confirmed Kondowe’s dismissal in an official statement shared across its platforms, but the announcement did not specify the grounds for his termination.
