LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Parliament has confirmed Richard Luhanga as the new Inspector General of Police following a vetting process held earlier this week.
Luhanga’s appointment was approved after members of Parliament expressed confidence in his leadership and experience within the Malawi Police Service.
He succeeds the outgoing Inspector General whose contract was terminated by the new regime.
