Homeland Security Minister Mukhitho assures-“Murder report on Dr. Victoria Bobe by week end”

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Minister of Homeland Security Peter Mukhito has informed Parliament that a comprehensive report on the murder of Dr. Victoria Bobe will be ready by the end of this week.

Dr. Bobe, a respected medical doctor and lecturer at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, was brutally murdered on Monday night.

She was also a dedicated practitioner at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.

Her life was tragically cut short at her residence in Chigumula, sending shockwaves across the medical community and the nation at large.

According to Minister Mukhito, investigations are currently underway to uncover the perpetrators behind the attack.

He emphasised that authorities are working tirelessly to establish the motive for the killing.

Mukhito further assured Parliament that government is committed to ensuring justice is served.

The minister also issued a strong warning to individuals in possession of illegal firearms.

He stated that the long arm of the law will soon catch up with anyone found harbouring or using unlawful weapons.

The murder of Dr. Bobe has reignited public concerns over security and violent crime in the country.

Government has pledged to intensify efforts aimed at restoring safety and order in affected communities.
