Cathy Sanchez-Babao, daughter of veteran actress Caridad Sanchez, is honoring her mother through the book ‘Friday’s Child,’ which recounts stories of the former’s ‘non-showbiz childhood.’
Sanchez-Babao announced the Oct. 16-launch of her book through a series of posts on her Instagram page, saying it was a wish from her mom.
‘I wrote this book because I wanted to remember her-the way she talked, the way she dreamed, the way she filled our home with stories and laughter,’ Cathy said. ‘I also wrote it to honor her, because once upon a time, she would say, ‘Write a book about me someday!’ So I did.’
‘Some of those stories have found their way here on Facebook, but Friday’s Child holds many more of those tender, funny, and unforgettable moments that shaped my childhood and my heart,’ she continued.
Cathy also included in her posts the contact person for those who would like to pre-order.
