An Indian visitor told local police that a woman and two transvestites stole cash worth nearly 25,000 baht from his hotel room late Wednesday night, and also hit a hotel employee.
The 47-year-old Indian man said he had invited a Thai woman aged about 25-30 to his hotel room and promised to give her 500 baht.
When she arrived, she demanded more money. The Indian man said he rejected the demand and the woman called two transvestites to the room.
The Indian man said the three people then attacked his group and stole 15,000 baht and 25,000 rupees (9,250 baht) in cash from them.
A hotel employee rushed to the room to investigate the commotion. He was also attacked by the trio before they fled the scene.
