The Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, has said that God gave him a revelation to teach biblical success principles aimed at transforming lives and raising role models across the world.
He made the revelation while speaking on the church’s forthcoming 30th anniversary celebration, scheduled to hold in November 2025, which will feature a weekend of thanksgiving, testimonies, and special events across Daystar centres in Lagos and its online platforms.
According to a statement by Ayo Makinde, Head of Communication at Daystar Christian Centre, the anniversary will commemorate ’30 years of changing lives and making global impact.’
Reflecting on the church’s journey, Pastor Adeyemi said:
‘In 1994, God gave me a revelation to teach biblical success principles that would transform lives. Since then, Daystar has been a platform where countless individuals have discovered their God-given potential and become positive examples to the world.’
He added that the church’s teachings and structure have evolved around that divine mandate, helping members achieve personal growth and community transformation through practical Christian principles.
The anniversary celebrations will hold on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025, featuring worship services, global testimonies of transformation, and a special thanksgiving event.
The Deputy Senior Pastor, Pastor (Mrs.) Nike Adeyemi described the milestone as both a time of reflection and a call to greater service.
‘This anniversary is not just about our history; it is about celebrating God’s faithfulness and preparing for the next 30 years of impact,’ she said.
The senior pastors encouraged members and partners worldwide to share personal stories of how Daystar has influenced their lives through various platforms, including the Daystar Academy, Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA), Daystar Skill Acquisition Programme (DSAP), Daystar Business Academy (DBA), small groups, and service ministries.
Founded in 1995 by Pastors Sam and Nike Adeyemi, Daystar Christian Centre has grown into a global faith community with thousands of in-person members and millions connecting online from across Africa, Europe, North America, and beyond.
Over the past three decades, the church has expanded its influence through leadership training, youth empowerment, business development, and community transformation initiatives.
‘Our role models are everywhere – in churches, organisations, and nations – shining the light of Christ. This celebration is about glorifying God for every life transformed and recommitting ourselves to the work ahead,’ Pastor Adeyemi said.
The anniversary weekend is expected to attract thousands of attendees physically and millions more online, as the church marks three decades of faith, growth, and impact.
