Park Bom’s agency, D Nation Entertainment, belied her claim that she had sued YG Entertainment allegedly over unpaid profits.
Park made headlines after she claimed in a now-deleted post on Wednesday, Oct. 22, that she would be suing YG for allegedly unpaid settlements worth ‘1002003004006007001000034 ‘64272e trillion won’ while sharing a photo of what seemed to be a police report against the company.
‘Park Bom hates YG. To my dear beloved citizens who use the internet, please look thoroughly into what YG did to Park Bom. Thank you,’ she wrote in Korean.
She then claimed that ‘the accused failed to duly pay the profits generated from all activities in which the complainant participated, including music releases, concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, events, lyric writing, and composing.’
A day later, D Nation said in a statement on Instagram that the alleged lawsuit that Park posted had ‘no truth.’
‘This is D Nation Entertainment. All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed, and there is no truth to the claim that a lawsuit uploaded on social media has been received,’ it said.
The agency added that Park has since suspended her activities with 2NE1 and is now focused on her health.
‘Park Bom has suspended all her activities and is currently focusing on treatment and recovery. Our company will do our best to help the artist regain her health,’ it said.
Park debuted in May 2009 as the main vocalist of K-pop female quartet 2NE1, whose members also include CL, Dara and Minzy. Known as one of the biggest names in K-pop’s second generation, they were active in the industry until their disbandment in November 2016.
In 2024, the group reunited with YG where they made their comeback as a group. However, Bom had been absent in the group’s activities since early 2025 prior to D Nation’s confirmation.
