Pop star Ariana Grande is set to make her debut in the hit anthology series ‘American Horror Story’ (AHS) season 13, joining series veterans Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson.
AHS creator Ryan Murphy announced the lineup in a cryptic teaser posted on Instagram on Saturday, Nov. 1, displaying the cast names in the show’s signature font over a haunting rendition of ‘I’ll Be Seeing You.’
The new season, which will feature a mix of returning fan favorites and fresh faces, is slated for an Oct. 31, 2026, premiere.
Aside from Lange and Paulson, other confirmed returning cast members include Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman.
Lange’s comeback marks her first major appearance in the anthology series since 2018, while Grande’s casting marks her return to television acting after nearly a decade.
Grande has previously worked with Roberts and Lourd in the 2015 satirical dark comedy slasher series ‘Scream Queens.’
The 32-year-old pop star is fresh from the success of her two-part musical film ‘Wicked’ opposite Cynthia Erivo.
Meanwhile, the theme and plot details for AHS Season 13 remain under wraps, though fans have speculated it could revisit storylines connected with earlier seasons such as Coven.
‘American Horror Story’ premiered in 2011 and quickly became one of FX’s most popular series. The anthology format allows each season to tell a self-contained horror narrative, featuring recurring actors in new roles.
Over the years, the show has earned multiple awards for its performances and storytelling, particularly in its standout seasons like Murder House, Asylum, Coven and Freak Show.
