DOMINICA-DEATH-Teacher dies after complaining of feeling unwell at school

The Assistant Principal of the Pierre Charles Secondary School (PCSS) in Grand Bay, south of here, died at a health center, after complaining of feeling unwell while at school.

Claudia Toussaint, who was also an assistant examiner with the Barbados-based Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), had collapsed at the school on Monday afternoon after complaining of feeling unwell.

The head of the modern language department at the school was rushed to the Grand Bay Health Center, but efforts to revive her failed, and she was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

The teacher with 23 years experience is survived by her daughter. Police say they are investigating the death.
