A man climbed onto a billboard frame at the Northbound footbridge of the Taft Avenue station of the Metro Rail Transit Line (MRT) Line 3 in Pasay City on Wednesday, according to the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
In a Facebook advisory, the DOTr said the man, who has yet to be identified, climbed onto the billboard at around 11:20 a.m.
‘The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel at the station immediately responded. Pasay City BFP Personnel also responded and conducted negotiations,’ the DOTr said.
The man was brought down to the roof deck at around 12:27 p.m.
The agency has yet to provide details on why the man climbed onto the billboard frame as of this writing. /apl
