A fire broke out at the Senate building in Pasay City on Sunday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
In an interview, the BFP Pasay City-Senate substation reported that the fire was raised to first alarm at around 6:50 a.m. and reached second alarm at 6:58 a.m.
The fire, which erupted along Diokno Boulevard, was brought under control by 7:43 a.m.
Fire authorities said they deployed five personnel and a rescue truck to the area. An ambulance also responded to the scene.
No injuries or fatalities were reported so far, but authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
