Police are invesitigating the cause of an accident that resulted in the deaths of the well-known Spiritual Leader, Andrew Irving, and two other people late Thursday night.
They said the accident occurred along the new Wisroc Public Road in Linden, the capital of the Upper Demerara-Berbice region.
Irving was the front seat passenger of the car that slammed into the back of a parked container truck along the newly built road. The driver of the car and a woman who was in the back seat also died. Their identities have not yet been released.
