Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will visit Uzbekistan on Saturday as part of his tour in Central Asia.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Kombos’ Central Asia tour, the Foreign Minister will travel to the Republic of Uzbekistan on 6 June.
‘The purpose of the visit is to maintain the positive momentum in bilateral relations, strengthen political consultations, and explore opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries’, the statement said.
On 8 June, Kombos is to pay a visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. On Friday, he was in Tajikistan, where he held a meeting with the country’s President.
Earlier this week, the Foreign Minister was in Kazakhstan as part of President Nikos Christodoulides’ official visit to Astana.
