The Beauty Line Art Foundation (BAF) announced its second open call for the Residency: Studio Mentoring Program 2026 at a press conference held at the Foundation’s Nicosia premises.
Returning after a successful inaugural year, the programme offers emerging Cypriot artists studio space, financial support, mentorship from established professionals and opportunities for development and public presentation, a BAF press release said here today. Running 21 September-11 December 2026, the residency will conclude with a public group exhibition.
Maria Papakonstantinou, Chair of BAF’s Board, described the initiative as ‘an investment in the people shaping the future of contemporary Cypriot art,’ while BAF Director Louiza Loui said the programme provides a framework for deepening research, developing practice and exchanging ideas.
Participants will take part in open studios, workshops and talks and selected works may enter BAF’s permanent collection.
The residency is open to emerging artists from Cyprus and the diaspora working across contemporary practices (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, performance and hybrid forms). The deadline for applications is 21 July 2026 while full details and application form are available on the BAF website.
