West Indies Test vice-captain Jomel Warrican will lead a West Indies Select side against Pakistan in a four-day warm up match at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago beginning on Saturday.
The 13-member squad announced by Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Friday, is made up primarily of Trinidad and Tobago Red Force’s championship side which captured this year’s Regional 4-Day tournament. Notable inclusions are West Indies players Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva and Kavem Hodge, along with pacers Anderson Phillip and Ojay Shields.
The West Indies will take on Pakistan in a two-match Test series, with the first match bowling off on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.
