Tanzania has taken a major new step along the progressive journey towards the adoption of electric mobility after the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Ewura) officially issued specific operational guidelines for electric vehicle charging stations and battery swapping systems.
The guidelines open a new chapter for investors and users of this technology, establishing foundations for safety, investment, and operation of the infrastructure required to drive the country’s electric vehicle sector.
