The Department of Meteorology issued a fresh yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures for Tuesday. It will come into effect from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The maximum temperature inland is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius.
Last week high temperatures affected the island but during the weekend there was a significant drop. As of tomorrow soaring temperatures will again give a hard time to locals and visitors.
