The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) removed Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. from the benchmark PSE Index (PSEi), replacing it with newly listed Maynilad Water Services Inc. following its latest review of the local bourse’s indices.
In a memorandum issued on Monday, the PSE said it based the changes on its regular review of trading activity from July 2025 to June 2026 and applied its Policy on Index Management. The changes will take effect on Aug. 3, 2026.
Aside from losing its spot in the 30-member PSEi, Converge joined the PSE MidCap Index alongside Philex Mining Corp., replacing Asia United Bank Corp.
The review also brought several changes to sector indices. Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. joined the PSE Dividend Yield Index, while Bank of Commerce and National Reinsurance Corp. of the Philippines entered the Financials Index.
The PSE added Basic Energy Corp., Maynilad, and Top Line Business Development Corp. to the Industrial Index, replacing Concepcion Industrial Corp., Pryce Corp., and Vitarich Corp. Meanwhile, Lopez Holdings Corp. joined the Holding Firms Index.
The Property Index dropped Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc. and VREIT Inc., while the Services Index removed AllDay Marts Inc. and AllHome Corp. Meanwhile, the PSE added Philodrill Corp. to the Mining and Oil Index.
