Team Nigeria high jumper Temitope Adeshina has credited the presence of her coach for helping her win bronze at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Adeshina said the experience was different from her previous Commonwealth Games, where she competed without a coach.
‘At the last Commonwealth Games, I didn’t have a coach, but this time around, I had one,’ she said.’I can’t see myself without a coach, and having one on the sidelines really helped. I now have something to show for it.’
She described the medal as another important milestone in her career and stressed the importance of technical guidance at the highest level.
