One of the suspects in the murder of a businessman and his driver in Quezon City three months ago was arrested in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte on Thursday, police reported yesterday.
The suspect, identified as Francis Penales, was collared in Barangay Poblacion at around 1:45 p.m.
Penales was among six people tagged in the killing of Ceferino Mariano and his driver, Norberto Orimaco, at the corner of Timog Avenue and EDSA in Barangay South Triangle on April 28.
Quezon City Police District chief Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio said the QCPD is coordinating with the Lanao del Norte police to ensure that the victims and their families will get justice.
