The Accord Party governorship candidate and incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has secured the highest number of votes in Odo Otin Local Government, in Saturday’s governorship election.
The Odo Otin Local Government Collation Officer, Dr Ademola Aderibigbe, announced the aggregate results at the state collation centre.
Adeleke, who is seeking re-election, polled 18,003 to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 15,435.
Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Osun State, Najeem Salaam, had 377 votes.
