Osun Decides: Adeleke’s Accord Party wins Ife East LGA

The Accord Party governorship candidate and incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has secured the highest number of votes in Ife East Local Government, in Saturday’s governorship election.

The Ife East Local Government Collation Officer, Prof. Benjamin Omolayo announced the aggregate results at the state collation centre.

Adeleke, who is seeking re-election, polled 27,201 to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 18,600.

Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Osun State, Najeem Salaam, had 935 votes.
