Brad Pitt portrays a Special Forces officer stuck in the wilderness with his combat dog Odin, relying on each other to survive in the action thriller ‘Heart of the Beast.’
In the film, Pitt’s character James Belmont and his dog survive a plane crash but find themselves stranded in the Alaskan wilderness.
In the new trailer released on Monday, Aug. 17, the duo are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements, showing the unbreakable bond between them.
‘No one’s coming for us. We’re just gonna have to do this the hard way,’ Belmont tells Odin.
‘I’m not gonna let you die out here,’ he vows. ‘I’ll get you home.’
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer and written by Cameron Alexander, ‘Heart of the Beast’ is set for release on Sept. 23.
Aside from Pitt, other cast members are J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe.
