Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), a support group advocating the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, held a Southeast Regional Town Hall Meeting on Friday, August 21, bringing together more than 5,000 grassroots mobilisers, political stakeholders, advocacy groups and supporters from the five Southeast states.
The meeting, held at the International Convention Centre in Anambra State, focused on the administration’s policies and projects in the region, including road construction, infrastructure, agriculture, security, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
Representing RTIFN director-general Ahmed Bala, the organisation’s national director of Town Hall and Special Duties, Farida Deborah Ibrahim, highlighted what she described as gains recorded by the Tinubu administration in infrastructure, education, security and regional economic development.
She urged participants to intensify grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, with a focus on wards and polling units across the region.
JohnBosco Onunkwo, RTIFN’s Southeast zonal coordinator and host of the meeting, said the South East Development Commission (SEDC) could help unlock the region’s industrial and economic potential by strengthening development interventions across the five states. RTIFN national secretary Eleojo Obaje Audu, who led the organisation’s national executive delegation, commended the turnout and thanked the people of Anambra State for hosting the meeting.
National and deputy national officers of the organisation also attended, including the national director of liaison, Zion Igwemma; national youth leader, Umar Farouk; director of student and youth engagement, Adakole Ochai; director of welfare, Rahma Umar; director of media and publicity, Musa Abdulrahaman; director of contact and mobilisation, Lulu Famweihmi; director of administration, Miriam Okonkwo; deputy director of strategy and deployment, Shalom Edigan; deputy director of humanitarian affairs, Charles Ibefuna; deputy director of contact and mobilisation, Precious Zimat; and deputy director of ICT, Olabode Olabisi.
The meeting forms part of RTIFN’s broader grassroots mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
