This was the question posed by prosecution counsel Mae Divinagracia to Office of the Vice President Assistant Chief of Staff Lemuel Ortonio regarding the confidential funds, which were disbursed on December 20, 2022, and spent from December 21 to 31, 2022, based on the liquidation report presented.

However, Ortonio declined to directly answer that the funds were disbursed within 11 days.
Rather than directly confirming the 11-day period, Ortonio referred to the document and it showed a liquidation for a cash advance for the period of December 21-31.
Defense counsel Ferrer objected, saying the prosecution was asking Ortonio to interpret the document.
Divinagracia countered that she was only asking the witness to make a ‘simple arithmetic’ calculation that the witness could easily make based on the document.
Ortonio then answered, saying, ‘based on the computation, and based on the document, it will reflect 11 days.
