Eight students were arrested after a fight between groups from two rival educational institutions broke out on the OneSiam Skywalk in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district on Friday morning, leaving four people injured.
The scene was stated to cause a scare among passersby.
Police at Pathumwan station received a report of the brawl at around 7.50am on Friday. Patrol and investigation officers were sent to the scene, where they found the groups from rival educational institutions fighting.
Officers intervened and detained eight people. Four others suffered injuries consistent with physical assault and were given first aid by emergency responders before being taken to Hua Chiew Hospital for treatment.
The eight suspects were taken to Pathumwan police station for questioning and legal proceedings.
