FG to establish Tech-innovation hub in Taraba

The federal government has announced plans to establish a Technology innovation hub in Taraba State.

Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, disclosed this when he received a delegation of the Taraba State Youth Development Agency (TSYDA), led by Prince Gara Nongha, at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja.

The minister also expressed his office’s readiness to deepen collaboration with Taraba State government to complement the ongoing efforts of Governor Agbu Kefas towards preparing young people for a productive future.

He disclosed that the technology hub proposed by the federal government is to provide opportunities for young Nigerians to acquire relevant digital and technological skills to participate meaningfully in the emerging digital economy.

The minister called on Taraba youth to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election to achieve the desired target for young Nigerians in the digital economy.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman, Taraba State Youth Development Agency (TSYDA) Prince Gara Nongha, said that the proposed technology innovation hub will also provide opportunities for young Tarabans to explore innovation ideas and business development.
