Fire breaks out at Manila City Hall’s office of vice mayor

The Office of the Vice Mayor at the Manila City Hall caught fire on Wednesday morning, according to the Manila Disaster City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (DRRMD).

In a report by Manila DRRMD shared by the Manila City government to media, the fire occurred at the second flood where the Office of the Vice Mayor is located.

The fire reached first alarm at 5:57 a.m. and was immediately declared under control at 6:15 a.m.

The blaze was extinguished at 6:21 a.m.

The Manila City government shared that work was not suspended in the city hall as per the directive of Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.
