Cinnamon Grand Colombo welcomes September with a diverse calendar of dining, entertainment, sporting action and cultural experiences across the hotel. From the much-awaited return of Noodles and a fashion showcase over High Tea to live music, international celebrations and sporting screenings, the month brings together experiences for every occasion.
This follows the hotel’s August calendar, which similarly brought together culinary experiences, cultural celebrations and live entertainment across its restaurants and venues.
One of the month’s highlights sees Noodles return once again from 24 to 27 September at the Courtyard, following the response to its limited-time comeback in July. Once a much loved restaurant at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Noodles returns for four evenings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. bringing back the authentic flavours and familiar favourites guests remember, alongside new creations.
Adding a fashionable twist to the month, Tea Lounge will host an exclusive Fashion Ramp Walk on 26 September, complementing its signature High Tea experience. Taking place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. the afternoon will bring fashion to the Tea Lounge with a runway showcase in its elegant setting, while guests enjoy High Tea priced at Rs. 6,500 nett per person. The experience adds another dimension to The Grand Tea Atelier, the hotel’s signature weekend afternoon tea concept, which features curated tea pairings, freshly baked scones, tableside tea service, live dessert finishing and its signature strawberry experience.
September also brings a taste of Mexico to Cheers. On 16 September, guests can celebrate the spirit of Mexico with handcrafted tacos, refreshing beverages and a festive atmosphere from 11.00 a.m. onwards.
Live entertainment continues at Breeze Bar on 18 September with Back to the 80s and 90s, featuring Rumours. Beginning at 6.00 pm. the evening will revisit nostalgic favourites from two memorable decades, complemented by special food and beverage offers.
The celebrations continue beneath the iconic banyan tree at Nuga Gama with Baila Night Under the Nuga Tree on 25 September. Sri Band SL will lead an evening of music and Sri Lankan culture from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. accompanied by the distinctive village atmosphere of Nuga Gama. The experience is priced at Rs. 7,500 nett per person and includes a complimentary special beverage.
Sports enthusiasts will also find plenty to look forward to at Cheers throughout September. The Sri Lanka Tour of England 2026 will be screened live, covering the T20I and ODI series from 15 to 27 September, with special beverage offers available throughout the series. Guests can also follow the FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup 2026 from 21 September to 6 October, alongside ongoing screenings of Formula 1 and the Rugby Nations Championship.
Beyond the month’s special events, Cinnamon Grand Colombo continues to offer a range of everyday dining and leisure experiences. The London Grill presents an elegant five-course set menu from 7.00 p.m. onwards, priced at Rs. 12,900 nett per person, while Breeze Bar offers its BBQ Feast for Four from 6.00 p.m. onwards at Rs. 15,900 nett for four.
At Plates, groups can turn everyday dining into a celebration with special discounts of 10% for 10 guests, 15% for 15 guests and 20% for 20 guests, together with a complimentary cake. The buffet is priced at LKR 6,900 nett per person for lunch and LKR 8,500 nett per person for dinner.
