Nigerian recording artist and founder of New Skool Ogene (NSO), Dan RicHeE, has announced September 23, 2026, as the release date for his forthcoming seven-track project, PAGES II.
The announcement comes months after the project was first unveiled in June and represents the latest phase in RicHeE’s effort to develop New Skool Ogene as a contemporary sound rooted in indigenous Nigerian culture.
According to the official tracklist, PAGES II features seven songs: ‘Intro II,’ ‘WAVE,’ ‘Obi Lai Stuks’ featuring Dxxter, ‘Under Cover,’ ‘Longing’ featuring Boymide, ‘Oha,’ and ‘Fashionative.’
The project builds on the foundation laid by PAGES, while introducing new collaborations and a broader range of musical expressions within the NSO sound.
Dxxter and Boymide are the featured artists on the project, with additional contributions from Elixi, saxophonist Emmanuel, bassist Elux and guitarist Fortuneguitar.
RicHeE wrote and arranged the project, while Sparkzyminded handled production across the seven tracks. Freedom of Soundz also provided additional production, with mastering credited to Destro, Benjay and Duchenne Mixx.
The second track, ‘WAVE,’ was released on August 26 as an early offering from the project. The song blends traditional Igbo instruments, including the Oja flute and Ogene bell, with saxophone, female vocal textures and contemporary rhythms.
Rather than following a single sonic formula, PAGES II explores different sounds and collaborations while maintaining the cultural foundation of New Skool Ogene.
The project is also part of RicHeE’s broader plan to develop NSO beyond his personal music catalogue and establish a creative framework through which other artists can experiment with contemporary musical expressions while retaining its indigenous identity.
With its release date now confirmed, PAGES II follows previous NSO projects and releases, including PAGES, WEH YE, and ‘WAVE,’ as RicHeE continues to expand the sound and identity of New Skool Ogene.
PAGES II is scheduled for release on digital streaming platforms on September 23, 2026.
