Union Assurance has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence by securing four national level accolades at the 17th consecutive National Forum for Life Insurance Advisors (NAFLIA) 2026, organised by the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL).
Recognised as one of the Life Insurance industry’s premier platforms for celebrating professional excellence, NAFLIA honours high-performing Life Insurance professionals who demonstrate outstanding sales performance, customer focus, innovation and commitment to raising industry standards.
The four accolades secured by Union Assurance underscores the strength and calibre of its Partnership Distribution channel, while reflecting the Company’s continued focus on developing high performing talent and making Life Insurance solutions more accessible to customers through trusted banking relationships.
At the national level, Senior Zonal Manager – NTB Channel Charith Abeywardana received the Gold Award in the Best Bancassurance Sales Supervisor/Team Leader Category, recognising his leadership and contribution to driving excellence within the bancassurance channel.
Further strengthening Union Assurance’s achievement, Associate Relationship Manager – NTB Channel Kanishka Devasinghe was presented with the Silver Award in the Fast Starter Category. The Company also celebrated two Bronze Award winners. Zonal Manager – NTB Channel Tharmarajasingan Gokularamanan was recognised with the Bronze Award in the Best Bancassurance Sales Supervisor/Team Leader Category while Relationship Manager – NTB Channel Dineshi Fernando secured the Bronze Award in the Best Bancassurance Sales Officer Category. Together, these achievements reflect the depth of talent within Union Assurance’s Partnership Distribution team and its ability to deliver meaningful customer experiences while helping Sri Lankans protect what matters most.
