LANDBANK advances key development initiatives in Isabela

LANDBANK is deepening its support for Isabela’s development agenda through investments in healthcare, education, agriculture, digitalization, and sustainable infrastructure, helping improve public services and drive inclusive growth across the province.

Reinforcing this commitment, LANDBANK recently extended a ?500-million loan to the Provincial Government of Isabela for the transformation of Gov. Faustino N. Dy Sr. Memorial Hospital into the Gov. Faustino N. Dy Medical Center.

The loan will fund Phase 1 of the project, which involves the construction of a four-storey hospital building that will increase the existing facility’s capacity from 400 to 500 beds, and expand access to specialized and comprehensive medical care for communities across Isabela’s 34 municipalities and three cities.

LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz and Isabela Governor Rodolfo T. Albano III led the signing of the loan agreement, alongside LANDBANK Executive Vice President Charlotte I. Conde, LANDBANK Vice President Victor A. Agorto, Isabela Provincial Treasurer Maria Theresa Araneta-Flores, and other LANDBANK and Provincial Government of Isabela officials on 03 September 2026 at the Isabela Capitol Grounds, Ilagan.

‘As a long-standing partner of Isabela, LANDBANK remains committed to supporting future investments in infrastructure, healthcare, renewable energy, and other priority sectors. We look forward to supporting more Isabeleños through investments that empower people, strengthen communities, and advance the Province’s development goals,’ said LANDBANK President and CEO Ortiz.

Isabela Governor Albano III expressed his gratitude to LANDBANK for its steadfast partnership in advancing projects that improve the quality of life of Isabeleños. ‘We would like to thank all of you, in behalf of the people of Isabela. Sisiguraduhin naming maramdaman ng ating mga kababayan ang kahandaan ninyong tumulong na may puso at malasakit para sa Isabela,’ he said.

Beyond the medical center project, LANDBANK and the Provincial Government of Isabela explored opportunities to further advance the province’s development agenda through investments in renewable energy, digital transformation, and agriculture. Discussions included potential financing support for the Provincial Government’s solar power project and digitalization initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and public service delivery.

LANDBANK also discussed financing opportunities with key industry stakeholders, including the multi-tier poultry project of Sagittarian Agricultural Philippines, Inc. (SAPI), and the expansion plans of La Suerte Rice Mill Corporation and Aurora Premium Cattle Inc. These proposed initiatives are expected to strengthen agricultural production, support value chain development, improve food security, and create more livelihood opportunities across the province.

The expanding collaboration builds on LANDBANK’s longstanding support for Isabela’s development agenda, including investments in the City of Ilagan Medical Center, City of Ilagan College, and the SAPI Feed Mill Complex, which have helped advance healthcare, education, and agricultural development across the province.

Together, these initiatives underscore LANDBANK’s commitment to supporting projects that improve public services, strengthen local industries, and drive inclusive and sustainable development across Isabela.
