Edo State lawmaker and wife of music star 2Baba, Natasha Osawaru, has vowed to become Nigeria’s President.
Osawaru, who posted on Instagram, made the pledge during her grandfather’s birthday celebration, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of the Benin Kingdom.
In a video from the event, Osawaru is seen addressing the elder statesman directly, promising to ascend to the nation’s highest office and make him proud.
‘I promise you, I will be the President of this country and make you very proud,’ she said.
The declaration drew cheers from guests at the ceremony and has since generated buzz on social media, with many noting her growing political profile since her election to the Edo State House of Assembly.
