Man stabbed to death for singing loudly in Quezon

A man was stabbed to death by a neighbor following an argument over his loud singing in San Francisco, Quezon, on Wednesday night.

The victim, who was allegedly drunk, was singing loudly as he walked home in Barangay Mabunga at around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect confronted him as he wandered near his home, the Quezon police reported on Thursday.

The suspect told the victim to keep quiet and soon after, they engaged in a heated argument. The suspect allegedly pulled out a bolo and stabbed the victim fatally in the left chest.

The victim was rushed to a hospital in the town proper but was declared dead on arrival.

Police said the suspect and his family fled after the incident, taking with them the weapon allegedly used in the stabbing.

Police said they have launched a manhunt to arrest the suspect
