Cyprus Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas met with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil El-Sisi on Tuesday morning during his visit to the country for the Trilateral Meeting of the Defence Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt.
According to a post by the Minister on X, during his meeting with the Egyptian President, Palmas reiterated the importance that the Republic of Cyprus attaches to further strengthening its close relations with Egypt, highlighting the substantive strategic dimension that bilateral cooperation between the two countries has acquired in the fields of defence and security.
