The Managing Director of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has congratulated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Authority’s management and staff, Bichi described the First Lady as a woman whose life of service, compassion, and dedication to uplifting Nigerian women, youth, and families continues to inspire millions across the country.
‘Your Excellency, your life of service, compassion and dedication to the upliftment of Nigerian women, youth and families continues to inspire us profoundly,’ Bichi said.
He noted that through her pet programme, the Every Home A Garden Initiative, Senator Tinubu has demonstrated that true national transformation begins at the grassroots -one home, one garden and one family at a time.
Bichi said the initiative has become a beacon of hope for women and households, promoting food security, self-reliance and economic empowerment in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He disclosed that, inspired by the First Lady’s vision, the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority recently trained 500 women in homestead gardening and agricultural empowerment.
According to him, the intervention was undertaken in direct fulfilment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that the milestone would not have been possible without the guiding light of the First Lady’s exemplary leadership.
