People’s Bank has partnered with Waters Edge as the Official Banking Partner for the annual Oktoberfest at the Edge 2026, scheduled to be held on 16-18 October 2026.
The partnership agreement between People’s Bank and Waters Edge was formalised recently in the presence of People’s Bank Deputy General Manager – Payments and Cards I. K. Indika, and Waters Edge General Manager Iyantha Abeysinghe, together with senior officials from both organisations.
The partnership marks another step in strengthening the relationship between People’s Bank and Waters Edge, while providing an opportunity for People’s credit cardholders to enjoy exclusive benefits during the event. As part of the partnership, People’s credit cardholders can enjoy a 25% discount on ticket prices.
Oktoberfest at the Edge 2026 is expected to attract around 3,000 diners from Colombo and its suburbs, creating a valuable opportunity for People’s Bank to engage with them and promote its credit cards.
