Two businessmen were killed while another was wounded in an ambush in Mamasapano, Maguindanao del Sur on Thursday afternoon.
Fahad Sula and Alfaris Dalinding were declared dead on arrival in a nearby hospital following the attack in Barangay Pembalkan, according to Capt. Steffi Salanguit, spokesperson for the Bangsamoro police.
The victims’ companion, Asmawi Bantas, was brought to a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound.
The victims were in a tricycle loaded with electronics and other merchandize when the gunmen assaulted them.
