Rere Madrid and Kai Sotto have officially welcomed parenthood as they announced that the actress has given birth to their first child, a baby boy.
Madrid made the announcement through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 29, showing the Gilas Pilipinas player at a hospital room, all-smiles while carrying the newborn.
‘A blessing I will love, nurture, and protect with everything I have,’ the actress said in the caption.
Sotto, for his part, expressed gratitude for Madrid’s safe delivery of their baby while sharing a photo of the actress lying in a hospital bed, with her face partly covered by a towel.
Further details about the child, including his name and date of birth, have yet to be revealed to the public as of this writing.
Madrid and Sotto first made their relationship public in 2024. They announced last May that they tied the knot in an intimate garden ceremony. A month after their wedding, the couple revealed their pregnancy.
