Heavy to intense rains may hit parts of Metro Manila and Luzon due to localized thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon, according to the state weather bureau.
In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 1:55 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that heavy to intense rains with lightning and strongwinds may affect the following areas within the next two hours.
Metro Manila (Muntinlupa and Las Pinas)
Batangas (Tuy, Balayan, Calatagan, Tanauan, Malvar, Balete, Mataasnakahoy, Santo Tomas, San Jose, Batangas City, Taysan, Lobo, Ibaan, and Cuenca)
Bulacan (Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel, and Hagonoy)

‘All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,’ Pagasa said.
The weather bureau earlier reported in its 5 a.m. weather advisory that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may be affected by localized thunderstorms on Tuesday.
