Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla congratulated Isabela Vice Mayor Jeryll Harold Respicio after the official tested negative for illegal drugs, but maintained that his behavior was still concerning.
‘Congratulations. Now that it’s confirmed he’s not on shabu, it’s really confirmed that his craziness is natural,’ Remulla told the Inquirer in a Viber message on Wednesday.
Earlier, Respicio asked Remulla to shoulder the cost of the drug test, saying it was ‘expensive.’
‘Please ask him for his GCash number. I will remit it ASAP,’ said Remulla, when asked if he will refund.
Respicio went to the St. Luke’s Medical Center-Quezon City after Remulla’s call for him to undergo testing after his outburst during a council session.
