Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has penned an emotional tribute to his late colleague and friend Toluwanisings following his sudden demise.
The Nation had earlier reported the sad news of the gospel singer’s passing which threw the gospel music industry into mourning last week.
In a fresh post on Facebook Kehinde who lost his twin brother Taiwo Adegbodu in March reflected on the painful coincidence surrounding Toluwanisings’ death.
The singer shared a throwback video capturing the moment Toluwanisings paid a condolence visit to his family after the loss of his twin.
In the clip the late singer was seen sympathising with the Adegbodus and praying fervently for comfort and strength.
Kehinde noted that at the time Toluwanisings had no idea he would be joining his late twin brother just seven months later describing the situation as sad painful and frustrating.
According to him the incident is a sober reminder of how fragile life is and how close death is to every man.
‘When we lost my twin brother Taiwo Adegbodu you came to sympathise with our family and me. You even prayed for me that day not knowing that you would join him just seven months later. This is so sad painful and frustrating. The bible says there is only a step between life and death. The mystery remains: who is next?’ he wrote.
He further prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort his wife and children left behind.
‘May the Lord accept your soul brother Toluwanisings. It is well with your wife and those innocent kids’ he added.
