People’s Bank Chairman Chandana Guniyangoda and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka met with Sri Lankan Bankers Association in the UAE Vice President Kapila Karunaratne on 23 October, 2026 to explore opportunities to expand the Bank’s services among the Sri Lankan community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Discussions focused on strengthening engagement with Sri Lankan expatriates, raising awareness of the Bank’s financial solutions and improving access to banking services catering to their personal, family and business needs.
