The Why Tinubu Should Stay Movement has been inaugurated in Kaduna State during the flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
The Movement, which said it has established structures across the country, aims to educate and enlighten the public on the policies, programmes and achievements of the Tinubu administration and advance its case for a second term.
Speaking on the group’s objectives, its National Coordinator, Barrister Nasir Umar Gama, said the initiative was set up to raise public awareness, encourage informed discussions about the administration, and communicate why its members believe President Tinubu deserves another term.
Gama said the movement would play a critical role in shaping public perception of the President and his administration through public enlightenment, grassroots engagement and effective communication.
He added that its nationwide structure would enable it to reach communities at different levels, engage citizens on issues of national importance and disseminate information about government policies and programmes.
‘Our Movement is committed to building an organised platform for public engagement and political mobilisation, with activities designed to reach Nigerians across different states and communities,’ Gama said.
Nura Umar, the National Publicity Secretary of the Why Tinubu Should Stay Movement, emphasised the importance of sustained public communication to ensure citizens can access information about the administration’s policies, programmes, and performance as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the inauguration in Kaduna marks the start of the movement’s activities as it prepares to expand its nationwide engagement.
