Armed assailants have abducted seven persons following a fresh attack on Nuru Suraj Estate in New Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, reports say.

The attack occurred on Monday night, October 26, when the assailants allegedly breached the estate’s rear security post, where two private security guards were reportedly absent from duty.
Efforts to reach residents for comments and independently verify details of the incident proved unsuccessful, as private security personnel denied media access, while the estate chairman declined media engagement.
According to residents who spoke on condition of anonymity, the two security guards allegedly absent from duty have been arrested and detained for further interrogation over the reported security breach.
Millennium City remains one of the fastest-growing urban areas in Chikun Local Government Area. However, recurring attacks by armed assailants continue to raise concerns over security measures and the safety of residents.
