ASAP Rocky Describes Himself as Rihanna’s ‘Loving Husband’

A$AP Rocky referred to himself as Rihanna‘s “loving husband” in a new interview.

The rapper made the comment in an interview with Perfect magazine published on Wednesday, October 29, despite Rocky and the “Diamonds” singer never publicly confirming or denying they have officially married.

“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy,” he said.

Rocky, 37, continued, “That’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan.”

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky Have ‘Talked About Getting Married Down the Line’

The “Am I Dreaming” musician poured fuel on the fire of the speculation surrounding the couple’s marital status while speaking to Elle in September.

“How you know I’m not already a husband?” he teased during an interview with the mag.

However, the rapper sidestepped any confirmation that a wedding had taken place, adding, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”

This isn’t the first time rumors have swirled that Rocky and Rihanna, 37, have secretly tied the knot due to comments made by the rapper.

In June 2023, Rocky referred to Rihanna as his “wife” in a sweet shout-out on stage during one of his live performances.

“I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the motherf***ing building!” he said during his second set.

Rocky, who shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, 6 weeks, with Rihanna has often been candid about his love of being a dad.

Earlier this month, he gushed about his daughter in an interview with Complex.

“My daughter. That’s my favorite thing I created this year,” Rocky told the outlet on October 9. “Shout out to Rocki Irish, man.”

Rihanna has made no secret of her admiration for Rocky’s parenting skills and dedication to being a family man.

The “Pon De Replay” singer revealed to Harper’s Bazaar in February that the “greatest thing” about her partner “is seeing him be a dad.”

ASAP Rocky Says He and Rihanna Do a ‘Real Great Job’ With ‘Making Children’

In the interview she joked that she found it frustrating that her sons seemed to be more taken with him than her.

“I’m annoyed because my sons sometimes just live for him more than they live for me,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Did you know who cooked you? Do you know who pushed you out?’ And they love him, but when I see it, oh, it’s the best.”

Previously, Rihanna has also shared how becoming a mother turned her life upside down in a positive way.

“It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever,” she told British Vogue in 2023. “You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because … it doesn’t matter.”

After the pair started off as friends, Rocky confirmed he and Rihanna were officially an item during an interview with GQ in 2021 where he called her “The One.”

Cheryl Burke Slams ‘Body Shamers’ Amid Alix Earle’s Stepmom’s Ozempic Diss

Cheryl Burke is open to constructive criticism — but not when it comes in the form of blatant body shaming.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro, 41, addressed fans’ criticism of her scoring when she returned to the reality show as a guest judge via an Instagram video posted on Thursday, October 30.

Burke explained that her critiques were aimed at helping the contestants and pros improve their dancing and grow their skills and were based on her own extensive experience in the same space.

“My comments didn’t just come out of nowhere. It came from personal experience. It came from being on this show for 26 seasons, and it also came from all the years of being trained, being coached myself and I have seen so many mixed reviews, which is totally fine, but what’s not okay is I’ve also seen so many aggressive ones and a lot of body shaming ones,” she said.

Celebrities Who’ve Spoken About the Ozempic Weight Loss Trend

The body shaming remark appeared to be a reference to Alix Earle’s stepmom, Ashley Dupré, who reacted to Burke’s DWTS scoring by telling her via a TikTok clip to “go take more Ozempic” on Tuesday, October 28.

In her Instagram video, Burke added that she appreciated the feedback whether it was “amazing and beautiful messages” or “constructive criticism” but she drew the line at hateful remarks based on how she looks.

“I know that I did the best that I could with the information that I had and with what I saw in real time, and for the people who think body shaming is okay, especially in front of your children, that sends a powerful message about what you value,” she said.

The dancer continued, “And clearly it’s not kindness, I was simply again, doing my job as a judge, giving feedback based on almost 20 years of my life, and if my score was different from the other judges, it was by one point. I have dedicated my whole life towards being a competitor of ballroom dancing.”

Burke went on to urge people making body shaming remarks, especially in front of children, to consider the impact they are having.

“And you know, you don’t have to agree with my critique, but you do have to recognize the influence your words have on the next generation watching you. If that’s the example you choose to set, then please, I beg of you leave my name out of it.”

Dupré stepdaughter Earle, 24, and pro Val Chmerkovskiy danced a tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend” on the show’s Halloween Night earlier this week.

Heather Dubrow Explains Why She’s ‘Over’ People ‘Ozempic-Shaming’ Others

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough each gave the influencer a 10. However, Burke gave Earle a slightly lower score of 9, prompting Dupré, 40, to make the controversial Ozempic comment.

In the clip, Dupré’s children could also be heard asking,  “Go take more Ozempic?”

Dupré then replied, “What? She looks weird. Doesn’t even look like her.”

Burke previously spoke candidly about her weight with Us Weekly in August, denying she’d ever taken the weight loss medication.

“There’s just no way, I faint at the sight of needles,” she exclusively told Us. “And I’ve heard of side effects, people not feeling well, certain things that happen that are too gross to share. I’m not willing to feel like that. I changed my eating habits. I stopped eating past 7 p.m. and it changed my whole body. It wasn’t so much about a number on the scale as it was about how I feel.”

Jesse Williams’ Jackson Has Tense Reunion With Meredith on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Jesse Williams‘ highly anticipated return to Grey’s Anatomy had Jackson and Meredith at odds before Ellen Pompeo left Grey Sloan Memorial — again.

During the Thursday, October 30, episode of the hit ABC series, Jackson (Williams) was back at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to help with a reconstructive surgery. His first interaction with Meredith (Pompeo) was far from perfect after she saw Tom Koracick’s (Greg Germann) published paper about Alzheimer’s research.

Meredith pointed out that Koracick’s work didn’t factor in female patients, but Jackson fired back at her criticism of his mentor. Ultimately, Jackson needed Meredith’s help with his procedure, so they had to scrub in together after their confrontation.

By the end of the episode, Jackson and Meredith found common ground. Meredith also realized she needed to continue her research, which meant she could no longer be as present at the hospital as she was right after the explosion that kicked off season 22.

Every Star Who’s Left ‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Where Are They Now?

Pompeo, 55, began playing Meredith in 2005 when Grey’s Anatomy premiered on ABC. After hinting at her exit for years, Pompeo confirmed in September 2022 that she would have a reduced role for season 19.

“I’m going to always be a part of that show,” she told Deadline at the time. “I’m an executive producer. I spent two decades of my career on [Grey’s Anatomy] — it’s my heart and soul. I’ll never truly be gone as long as [it’s] on the air.”

The actress starred in eight episodes that season before exiting the show as a series regular in 2023. “I’m only going to Boston, and you know, I’ll probably be here next week,” Meredith told her friends and coworkers before boarding a plane with her three children.

Pompeo is expected to be featured on screen for at least seven episodes this season, appearing in the first four so far. Deadline reported that Pompeo’s screen time could “grow” with the season planning to air 18 total episodes.

Which ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Stars Are — And Aren’t — Returning for Season 22?

Grey’s Anatomy is already reducing the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of the show’s 18 episodes per season. While some fan favorites won’t appear in as many as four episodes each, Caterina Scorsone‘s absence was doubled after her character, Amelia, chose to take a sabbatical. Deadline subsequently reported that Scorsone’s break will last until 2026.

Elsewhere in Thursday’s episode, Link (Chris Carmack) missed working and found a way to help Owen (Kevin McKidd) on his newest case. Owen, for his part, was dealing with the end of his marriage to Teddy (Kim Raver) as she moved on with Cass (Sophia Bush). Owen had his own romantic development when he went out to dinner with Nora (Floriana Lima).

Bailey (Chandra Wilson) was determined to help her patient with stage IV cancer, which Lucas (Niko Terho) helped with, while Jules (Adelaide Kane) worked through an issue in her friendship with Simone (Alexis Floyd). As for Blue (Harry Shum Jr.)? He won points with his plastics fellow after allowing her to help Jackson.

Grey’s Anatomy airs on ABC Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET before streaming the next day on Hulu.

Tanzania plunges into unrest as opposition candidates barred from presidential race

Protests erupt across major cities including Dar es Salaam after opposition exclusion triggers public outrage, police confrontations, and a nationwide curfew amid escalating political tensions.

DODOMA-(MaraviPost)-Tanzania descended into political turmoil on election day as protests broke out in Dar es Salaam and several other major cities following the disqualification of main opposition candidates from the presidential race.

The move, which many citizens and rights groups have described as undemocratic, sparked widespread anger and led to violent confrontations between demonstrators and security forces.

Crowds of protesters took to the streets demanding the reinstatement of opposition candidates and accusing the electoral commission of manipulating the process to favor the ruling party.

In Dar es Salaam, thousands of people gathered in defiance of police orders, chanting slogans calling for justice and free elections.

The demonstrations quickly turned chaotic as police responded with tear gas, rubber bullets, and mass arrests to disperse the angry crowds.

Similar scenes unfolded in Arusha, Mwanza, and Dodoma, where protesters blocked roads, burned tires, and clashed with law enforcement officers.

Authorities have since imposed a nationwide curfew in an attempt to restore order and prevent further escalation of violence.

The government also deployed military personnel in key urban centers, a move that has intensified public concern about the country’s political stability and human rights situation.

Opposition leaders, whose exclusion from the presidential race triggered the unrest, have condemned the government’s heavy-handed response and called for international intervention.

They argue that the disqualification of candidates violates Tanzania’s constitution and undermines the principles of democracy, transparency, and fair competition.

Human rights organizations across Africa have expressed alarm over the developments, warning that the crackdown on protesters could lead to further instability and loss of life.

Meanwhile, the government has defended its actions, insisting that the electoral process was conducted within the law and that the disqualifications were based on legitimate grounds.

As the curfew takes effect, streets remain tense, businesses are shuttered, and uncertainty looms over Tanzania’s political future.

Observers say the unfolding situation represents one of the most serious challenges to the country’s democratic institutions in recent years, with the potential to reshape the nation’s political landscape.

For now, Tanzanians wait anxiously — hoping for peace, dialogue, and a return to democratic normalcy after a day marked by violence, fear, and frustration.

Mutharika secures 200,000 metric tons of maize from Zambia to boost food security

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika announces major food relief initiative targeting four million Malawians and pledges increased investment in ADMARC to strengthen national food distribution systems.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has announced that his government has successfully procured 200,000 metric tons of maize from Zambia as part of its comprehensive food security strategy.

He said the maize will be distributed for free to four million Malawians who are currently facing hunger across various parts of the country.

The President made the announcement during his address in Parliament on Friday, 31st October 2025, where he outlined key priorities of his administration for the coming months.

According to Mutharika, this initiative is part of the government’s broader plan to ensure that no Malawian goes hungry, especially during the current period of food shortages caused by erratic weather patterns and reduced crop yields.

He emphasized that the free maize distribution program demonstrates his administration’s commitment to protecting the most vulnerable citizens and ensuring equitable access to essential food supplies.

In addition to food relief efforts, the President revealed that his government will allocate more resources to the Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) outlets across the country.

He said strengthening ADMARC’s capacity will help stabilize maize prices, improve market access for farmers, and enhance the efficiency of food distribution throughout Malawi.

President Mutharika assured Parliament that his administration remains focused on both immediate hunger relief and long-term agricultural resilience.

He noted that government investments in ADMARC will be accompanied by broader reforms in the agriculture sector, including irrigation expansion, input accessibility, and modern farming techniques to boost productivity.

As the 52nd Session of Parliament progresses, Mutharika’s statement on food security has set a decisive tone for his government’s efforts to restore stability and confidence in Malawi’s food systems.

By prioritizing both humanitarian support and structural reform, the President signaled a strong message that his government is determined to secure Malawi’s future against hunger and poverty.

Mutharika administration increases CDF to MK5bn with youth, women empowerment pledges

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has announced a significant boost to the Community Development Fund (CDF), raising it from MK220 million to MK5 billion, in a renewed effort to spur local development and improve livelihoods across Malawi.

Speaking during the state opening of the 52nd session of Parliament, Mutharika emphasized that the new allocation will directly empower the country’s youth and women two groups he described as “the backbone of Malawi’s social and economic transformation.”

He added that under the revised program, each district will receive MK100 million for youth loans, aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs, creating jobs, and reducing unemployment.

Additionally, another MK100 million per district will be allocated for women’s empowerment initiatives, focusing on boosting small-scale businesses, agricultural ventures, and other income-generating activities.

“We want every young person and every woman in Malawi to have an opportunity to succeed,” said Mutharika. “Our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind in the journey toward development.”

The President also addressed the ongoing challenges surrounding passport issuance, assuring Malawians that the long-standing delays and irregularities will soon be resolved.

He announced that passport printing will resume in Blantyre, Lilongwe, and Mzuzu, marking a major step toward restoring efficiency and transparency in government services.

“The chaos surrounding passport issuance must come to an end,” he stressed. “We are putting measures in place to ensure that every Malawian can access their passport without unnecessary struggles.”

Mutharika reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive development, adding that investments in youth and women are central to building a self-reliant and prosperous Malawi.

The announcement has been welcomed by many members of Parliament including the opposition who cheered during his speech.

Parliament session resume on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2025.

“Malawians to buy AIP Progran fertilizer at MK10,000”-Mutharika

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawians are set to benefit from the government’s Affordable Inputs Programme (AIP), with each fertilizer bag to be purchased at only MK10,000, President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has announced.

Speaking during the official opening of the 52nd Session of Parliament in Lilongwe, President Mutharika said the initiative aims to support smallholder farmers and boost national food security.

The President revealed that over four million Malawians have been affected by recent disasters, including dry spells and floods, which have severely impacted agricultural production.

“To ensure that no Malawian goes hungry, my government has procured 200,000 metric tonnes of maize from Zambia,” said Mutharika. “We remain committed to supporting our farmers through the AIP so that they can recover and produce more in the coming season.”

The Affordable Inputs Programme has been a key government strategy to make fertilizer and improved seeds accessible to low-income farmers, thereby enhancing food production and reducing dependency on food aid.

How ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Paid Tribute to Isabelle Tate After Her Death at 23

9-1-1: Nashville found a way to honor actress Isabelle Tate after her death at age 23.

The hit ABC series ended the Thursday, October 30, episode with an in memoriam message that read, “In loving memory. Izzy Tate 2002 – 2025.”

Earlier this month, Tate appeared in the 9-1-1: Nashville series premiere as a girl who attended the club where Blue (Hunter McVey) danced as a stripper before becoming a firefighter. Her death was announced weeks later following her battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.

“Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others,” read her obituary. “She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few. What she loved the most though was spending time with family and friends, always the life of the party. Her sister was her best friend and her mom was her shining beacon of light.”

How TV Shows Handled Stars’ Deaths: ‘And Just Like That’ and More

A rep for Tate reflected on the actress’ death in a separate statement.

“I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time,” Kim McCray shared via Instagram. “Special thanks to [Mark Fincannon and Shelby Holt] for casting her and [Caroline Locorriere] for that wonderful encouragement and nudge back to the acting world. Also to Lora Sorrentino for making her set experience a good one. My heart goes out to her wonderful mother [Katerina Kazakos Tate], her sister Daniella, family and friends. I was so lucky to know her and she will be greatly missed by so many.”

After news broke of Tate’s death, McVey, 26, spoke out about his experience working with her on 9-1-1: Nashville.

“I was shocked to hear the news,” McVey said in a statement. “I didn’t know Isabelle prior to filming, but I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with on one of my first ever days on set.”

McVey recalled how Tate brightened his time on set, adding, “I was terrified, nervous, and after each take we would get to exchange a couple words which were always supportive from her. I [had] the pleasure of talking with her after the scene and she had such a great energy.”

He continued: “You could tell she brought joy to a lot of people. I’m thankful I got a chance to work with Isabelle and that a part of her will live on forever in the pilot episode of 9-1-1 Nashville. Prayers for her family.”

The Most Shocking Celebrity Deaths of All Time: Diane Keaton and More

Tate previously opened up about her health issues after being diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease when she was 13.

“I don’t usually get vulnerable on this app, but l feel like this is something I have to share that’s been going on in my life. When I was 13, I got diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease that weakens my leg muscles over time,” she wrote via Instagram in 2022. “When I was first diagnosed, I couldn’t fully understand what it was or grasp what it could be. Over the years, I was going on with my life and would notice little things get more difficult for me, but not so much where it stood out to me significantly.”

Tate’s condition “really progressed” before her death.

“I’ve come to terms that if I want to live my life to the fullest I need to use a wheelchair at times. This has been a difficult journey for me because having to accept help and surrender to the progression of this condition has been extremely hard,” she continued. “I would have never expected something like this to happen to me, as most of us wouldn’t. I don’t know why these were the cards I was dealt in life, but I can’t change it so I’m choosing to embrace it and not let it define me.”

She concluded: “This has really changed my perspective on life, and if I’ve learned anything from this it’s to appreciate the little things that are easily taken for granted. You really never know what someone else is going through, so please always be kind and compassionate.”
