Kim Kardashian Seemingly Deletes Meghan Markle Photo at Kris Jenner Bash

Kim Kardashian seemingly removed a photo of Meghan Markle from her Instagram photo dump celebrating Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday.

Initially, Kardashian, 45, had included Meghan, 44, in a carousel of pictures on Monday, November 10.  The image showed Kardashian and Meghan posing together and smiling for the camera, the former wearing a slinky purple gown and the latter in a black turtleneck dress.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, was spotted in the background, sporting a tuxedo and having a conversation with an unseen person.

Shortly after Kardashian posted the photos, however, Meghan disappeared.

Us Weekly reached out to Kardashian for comment.

Her Monday highlight reel featured her mom, of course, as well as her sisters, her All’s Fair costars, childhood friends Paris and Nicky Hilton and other pals including Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, Ciara, and Jeff and Lauren Bezos (who hosted the festivities at their home on Saturday, November 8).

A source exclusively told Us on Monday that Beyoncé and Jay-Z had also attended the James Bond-themed bash inside a tent on the Bezos lawn, where guests mingled among poker and roulette tables and nibbled on passed appetizers and birthday cake.

The source said that phones were not “not allowed” at the party, but there was a photobooth.

Megastar Moms Kris Jenner and Doria Ragland Hang Out at Gala With Kim K.

“There was a big dance floor, all the sisters were dancing,” the insider said, revealing that Bruno Mars was there, performing his upbeat music. “Kris had one of the best nights and felt so much love. It was the party of all parties.”

As multiple outlets previously reported, the police showed up as the event was wrapping up. (Us reached out to Kris’ rep for comment.)

The matriarch took to Instagram on Sunday, November 9, and shared snaps of her birthday look: a red strapless Givenchy Haute Couture gown with black gloves.

“Magical night celebrating my 70th birthday with beautiful family and friends,” she captioned the post, which showcased glimpses of Kris with her boyfriend Corey Gamble, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and Chris Rock.

Oprah Winfrey and Adele were also among the A-list attendees.

“HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET!” Kardashian gushed in an Instagram tribute last week. “There is no one more special in this whole world than you! You are so blessed with the most amazing family surrounded by so much love! You truly are super woman and have been the absolute best role model just in the way you lead and live your life with such grace and compassion and joy! I Wannabe just like you when I grow up and have always said this my whole life! I love you so much mom!”

The night of Kris’ star-studded blowout, Harry and Meghan also stopped by the annual Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood, posing alongside their friend Serena Williams. The tennis pro, 44, was honored at the fundraiser for her “for her fierce commitment to uplifting children and families and her powerful advocacy for maternal health,” Baby2Baby stated via Instagram the following day.

The charity event attracted other boldfaced names including Kerry Washington, Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba and Demi Lovato.

Florence Pugh Recalls Intimacy Coordinator Making It ‘Weird’ for Her on Set

Outlander, Sex/Life and more TV shows and movies have hired intimacy coordinators to manage sex scenes.

“My task early on in the season was No. 1, to check in with them and go, ‘OK, so you’re together this season, how can I help you feel safe?’” Sex/Life intimacy coordinator Casey Hudecki exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2023. “‘How can I help you protect your relationship as your characters go off and have other relationships? How can I help the actors who are … being their scene partners to feel safe and to feel free even though they know that, you know, Adam and Sarah [are] together?’ So there’s a lot of talking.”

Sex/Life — which premiered its first season on Netflix in June 2021 — features plenty of racy, NSFW scenes between stars Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos, who sparked a real-life romance on set.

“I think with Adam and Sarah, they feel safe together and they’re very comfortable with each other,” Hudecki explained to Us. “I think in their scenes, they’re free to have a lot more fun and play with each other.”

Mchinji North East legislator Masamba pushes for Chikangawa Plane Crash’ bereaved families compensation

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Mchinji North East legislator Anthony Masamba has called on President Peter Mutharika’s government to speed up compensation for families of the deceased in the Chikangawa Forest plane crash.

Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, Masamba emphasized the urgent need for justice and support to the bereaved families, noting that many are still struggling emotionally and financially in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Masamba

“It is only fair and humane that government provides compensation to the families who lost their loved ones in this unfortunate accident,” Masamba said. “These families have endured unimaginable pain, and the least we can do is to help them rebuild their lives.”

Masamba also appealed to the Ministry of Transport and Public Works to release a comprehensive report on the cause of the crash, stressing that transparency is crucial to preventing similar accidents in the future.

The legislator further urged authorities to improve aviation safety standards and emergency response mechanisms, saying that the Chikangawa disaster should serve as a wake-up call for all relevant stakeholders.

The Chikangawa plane crash, which claimed several lives, shocked the nation and prompted widespread calls for accountability and improved safety oversight within Malawi’s aviation sector.

Masamba’s remarks received support from several Members of Parliament, who echoed his sentiments and encouraged government to treat the matter with the seriousness it deserves.

Masamba is among the newly elected Members of Parliament who transitioned from the newsroom to the National Assembly, having previously worked as a practicing journalist.

“HRDC lost moral ground, integrity to question Mutharika Govt on inherited crises”-LITA tears apart

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Leadership Institute for Transparency and Accountability (LITA) has launched a strong attack on the Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC), accusing the watchdog group of hypocrisy and selective activism as Malawi grapples with worsening national crises.

In a statement dated 11 November 2025 and signed by LITA Executive Director Goodwell Logeya, said it finds HRDC’s sudden resurgence of activism “questionable and hypocritical,” arguing that the group remained silent during years of governance decline under the previous administration.

According to LITA, Malawians are battling rising hardships brought on by shortages of fuel, water and electricity and while HRDC has now begun demanding swift government action, the organisation shares responsibility for the state of affairs.

LITA contends that HRDC previously aligned itself with political actors whose decisions allegedly worsened national mismanagement, only for the coalition to turn around and blame the new administration for problems it helped create. The institute said this behaviour amounts to “hypocrisy of gigantic proportion.”

The organisation stressed that authentic human rights and governance advocacy must be grounded in consistency, honesty and moral independence.

LITA warned that civil society risks losing public trust when it operates as a political tool that activates only when power shifts.

“Such selective activism undermines the entire civic space,” the institute argued.

adding that rebuilding national confidence requires transparency, truth and shared responsibility among all leadership actors.

LITA said the crises Malawi faces today are not the fault of one administration but a product of years of poor governance and weak accountability systems.

For this reason, the institute urged all institutions, including civil society organisations, to embrace self reflection and genuine accountability.

The body has since called on HRDC to recognise its role in the current challenges and recommit to impartial advocacy driven by integrity, independence and national interest.

House Votes on Funding Bill, Shutdown Deal Dissent, COP30 Global Emissions

The House returns to vote on a bipartisan bill that could end the longest government shutdown in U.S. history and send thousands of federal workers back to their jobs. Democrats face internal backlash after several senators broke ranks to support the deal, raising questions about the impact ahead of next year’s midterm elections. And COP30 opens in Brazil with a stark warning on global emissions, new data shows fossil fuels are at record highs, and the world is still far from meeting its climate goals.

NAP sounds alarm over deep-rooted corruption in Malawi’s agriculture sector

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The National Advocacy Platform (NAP) has issued a blistering statement accusing government agencies and political actors of entrenched corruption, manipulation and gross negligence in three of Malawi’s biggest agricultural programmes.

The sector programs are the Farm Input Subsidy Programme (FISP), the Maize Distribution Programme and the Mega Farms Initiative.

The statement signed by NAP Chairperson Benedicto Kondowe and National Coordinator Baxton Nkhoma released on Tuesday, follows a shocking revelation by Minister of Agriculture Roza Fatch Mbilizi in Parliament on 10 November, outlining how billions of kwacha intended to boost food security have been lost to political interference, mismanagement and fraud.

NAP describes the situation as “a crisis of integrity, accountability and justice,” warning that Malawi’s food security has been compromised not by droughts or bad luck but by human greed and deliberate policy failures.

In the case of FISP, NAP says the programme has been “betrayed” by political actors who used proxies and vendors to divert subsidised inputs for resale, leaving real farmers stranded.

Only K2 billion out of the K6 billion disbursed has been recovered, while fertilizer was allegedly used for political price manipulation through institutions like NEEF during campaign periods.

NAP wants Parliament to disclose all contracts, suppliers, payments and beneficiaries dating back to 2023.

The platform also blasted the government’s maize distribution strategy, calling the current hunger crisis a man-made disaster.

According to the Minister’s report, over 2.7 million Malawians are facing hunger while the national food security plan remains underfunded by K148 billion.

NAP says the neglect of ADMARC and NFRA, which were left without funding to purchase maize, reflects reckless governance that has pushed citizens toward starvation. They are demanding a full audit of ADMARC, NFRA and DoDMA for the past two years.

On the Mega Farms Programme, NAP says the initiative has produced “more excuses than maize,” with farmers delivering only 88,000 metric tons against the projected 220,000. Some recipients of loans and vouchers were not even farmers but vendors exploiting the system.

No repayments were made to MAIIC despite crops being sold privately and NAP now wants beneficiary lists, acreage details, loan records and performance data published.

NAP is calling for sweeping reforms, including prosecution of all public officers and politicians involved, forensic audits of all agriculture programmes, recovery of stolen funds and quarterly transparency updates on beneficiaries and disbursements. They also want Parliament to launch a full inquiry into agricultural subsidies involving key institutions such as SFFRFM, ADMARC, MAIIC, and the Ministry of Finance.

The advocacy group says the country needs a “National Integrity Pact for Agriculture” to rebuild trust and ensure that future subsidies and investments actually reach farmers instead of being siphoned off by elites.

“Every kwacha meant for farmers should translate into productivity, dignity, and hope,” reads part of the statement.

Mutharika Govt lifts fuel price controls, introduces automatic pricing mechanism amid public outcry

……Malawians express mixed reactions as the government reverts to an automatic fuel pricing system tied to global oil markets, sparking fears of economic instability and rising living costs.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Peter Mutharika Government has announced the removal of fuel price controls and the reintroduction of an automatic pricing mechanism.

This move is meant to align domestic fuel prices with changes in international market conditions.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the automatic pricing mechanism will ensure that local fuel prices are reviewed regularly—either monthly or quarterly—based on global oil prices, import costs, distribution margins, and taxes.

The system is designed to protect government revenues, avoid subsidy accumulation, and promote transparency in fuel pricing.

However, the announcement has sparked widespread debate among citizens, economists, and business owners who fear that the move could worsen the cost of living in a country already struggling with high inflation and foreign exchange shortages.

Many Malawians have taken to social media to voice their frustrations, urging the government to first ensure consistent fuel availability at service stations before focusing on automatic price adjustments.

“Let fuel be available at every gas station across Malawi before talking about automatic pricing,” one citizen commented.

Others have expressed disappointment, arguing that the policy change will disproportionately affect low-income households who already bear the brunt of price hikes on basic goods and services.

“It’s easy to destroy what someone built, but difficult to build what someone destroyed,” another user lamented, suggesting that the new system may undo previous efforts to stabilize fuel prices.

Another citizen expressed sympathy for the government’s financial challenges but urged it to act responsibly, saying, “The government is carrying the weight of the whole world, but it doesn’t have forex.”

The general mood among many Malawians is one of anxiety and fatigue.

For a population that has endured months of fuel shortages, rising transport costs, and persistent inflation, the automatic pricing policy feels like another burden on already strained shoulders.

An open letter circulating on social media and addressed to the Minister of Energy has further amplified public concern.

In the letter, a concerned citizen outlined the possible economic and social consequences of the new policy, urging the ministry to review the decision and introduce relief mechanisms for vulnerable groups.

The letter noted that frequent fluctuations in fuel prices will make it increasingly difficult for individuals, transport operators, and businesses to plan their budgets effectively.

The author warned that every price increase will directly push up the cost of goods and services, worsening the plight of ordinary citizens and widening economic inequality.

“This especially affects low-income households, who already spend a high percentage of their income on basic needs,” the letter read.

It also cautioned that during global oil crises or supply chain disruptions, the automatic mechanism may leave the government with little room to intervene, resulting in sudden and painful price spikes.

The unpredictability of fuel prices, according to the letter, discourages investment and undermines business confidence, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation.

“Businesses are finding it difficult to forecast expenses and set stable prices,” the writer added, stressing that this volatility could slow down national economic growth.

The open letter concluded with a call for the Ministry of Energy to review the model, suggesting the introduction of stabilization or relief measures during economic shocks.

It also called for greater transparency in the pricing formula and targeted support to sectors most affected by rising fuel costs.

Citizens echoed similar sentiments in public forums, with one person commenting, “This is the worst for the people of Malawi—savings will be wiped out.”

Others expressed concern that price increases in fuel are rarely followed by corresponding reductions in commodity prices when fuel prices eventually drop.

“In real life, when fuel goes up, goods go up. But when fuel goes down, prices remain where they are,” one frustrated citizen observed.

Another critic directed his message to the Ministry of Finance, warning, “Mwanamvekha, please don’t take that route.”

Political commentary also surfaced, with some blaming the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP) for failing to manage the crisis.

“Under MCP, fuel is becoming a nightmare,” a citizen wrote. “Are we really going to be buying fuel at K15,000 per litre?”

The outcry reflects the broader economic pressure many Malawians face amid a weakening kwacha, high inflation, and dwindling foreign reserves.

Economists have noted that while automatic pricing can promote market efficiency and reduce fiscal burdens, it also transfers price risks directly to consumers.

Without adequate social protection mechanisms, frequent fuel price adjustments can deepen poverty and social inequality.

Experts recommend that the government accompany the automatic pricing mechanism with targeted interventions—such as fuel vouchers for public transport, tax reliefs for small businesses, or subsidies for essential services like health and education.

They also urge the authorities to strengthen the country’s fuel reserve system and improve forex allocation to ensure steady supply, regardless of international price volatility.

As the debate continues, the government faces a delicate balancing act between fiscal sustainability and social stability.

The automatic pricing mechanism may appear economically sound on paper, but its success will depend on how well it is managed and communicated to the public.

For many Malawians, the policy represents not just a technical adjustment but a test of the government’s commitment to economic justice and public accountability.

Until the government finds a way to cushion citizens from the shocks of fluctuating prices, the automatic fuel pricing mechanism will remain a source of anger, anxiety, and uncertainty in everyday life.

Cena captures missing WWE crown as retirement nears

TEXAS-(MaraviPost)-John Cena’s legendary WWE journey has finally hit the one milestone that escaped him for more than two decades, as the 16-time world champion defeated Dominik Mysterio on Monday Night RAW to claim the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.

The bout wasn’t just another high profile RAW match. It was the product of weeks of tension between the two but it crystallized earlier in the night when Triple H stepped into the arena to make the match official after Cena and Mysterio traded sharp words in the opening segment.

Mysterio, confident and disrespectful, had mocked Cena’s age and questioned his relevance.

Cena, who rarely bites back, didn’t hold back this time. He made it clear he had one more historic run left in him.

What made this match even more symbolic is that Cena entered it knowing he has only three WWE appearances left before his planned retirement in December.

For someone who debuted in 2002 and carried the company through entire eras, the weight of the moment was obvious.

The crowd sensed it and Cena seemed determined to make every second count.

Once the bell rang, Mysterio came in aggressive, using his speed and trademark athleticism to keep Cena off balance.

The turning point came when Mysterio landed his signature 619 cleanly, sending the crowd into a frenzy. But the young star miscalculated the frog splash that followed, allowing Cena to use his veteran instincts.

In a split second, Cena caught him mid-air, powered him into an Attitude Adjustment and secured the three-count.

The stadium erupted. Not just because of the victory but because of what it meant. Cena, after more than 20 years of climbing every mountain WWE has, finally completed the Grand Slam a rare achievement that requires holding the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, United States Championship, Tag Team Championship and Intercontinental Championship.

WWE have hinted that Cena’s final run is designed as a gratitude tour. WWE wants to honor his loyalty, his mainstream impact and the countless moments he delivered during the most transitional periods of the company.

His Intercontinental win is a career-capping moment not even some all-time greats have achieved.
